![]() The video does indeed mention Roll20, but that's simply because it was the only place they were being sold during release. If it doesn't work, please contact me on Roll20 () and I'll try to give you a hand there. Please try to update your browser and change hardware acceleration if that is unsuccessful to see if that resolves your problems. It's a shame they released the animation feature on the tabletop and didn't do much to fix their problems yet, but I'm hoping it'll happen soon with the aforementioned Layer Up update. Someone specifically having trouble with my pack told me that disabling Hardware Acceleration in Firefox makes the animation work great, but has a higher CPU usage. It doesn't actually stop looping, but Roll20 screws up the rendering and somehow disables the transparency, which is why everything looks opaque. See more (2nd resolved issue) but it might be connected to the next one.įrom what I can gather from other animation issue reports from multiple packs and authors, your second problem can most likely be solved by updating your browser (the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox seem to work well) or changing your hardware acceleration option in it. The first problem you're encountering was in theory resolved already, as can be seen on the Animation Feedback thread here. They were supposed to solve all these problems and add new features if they released their "Layer Up" update back in April, which was also going to add a layer specifically for animations and other improvements, but they keep pushing it to focus on their Fog of War issues which is why I haven't released any new animated packs on that platform yet. If you want to test them outside Roll20, you can see how they work in your browser here: I can assure you they work perfectly fine as-is, but the Roll20 platform seems to still be having problems rendering all animations properly, especially large ones such as these. ![]() ![]() I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the animations. ![]()
